Thought Has NO Calories!
This summer, beach goers can quit dieting! A new truth is revealed when they discover Thought Has NO Calories!
( Redondo Beach , CA ) June 20, 2008 – If the thought of showing up at the beach in a pair of shorts this summer is causing grief and anxiety, you are not alone. Unrealistic standards for a woman’s body image bombard us from all directions. These images cause most women to feel they just can’t measure up. A shift of thinking will set the truth back into motion. The diet industry generates at least 100 million dollars a year in revenue, indicating the desperation American women feel to change their bodies and solve their dieting woes. Why are so many women unhappy with their body?
Scientific research has provided a standard of acceptable body weight that many women fit into. Unfortunately, the media presents a very different image of what’s acceptable. Airbrushed women in magazine ads, underweight models, and promotions for unhealthy weight loss plans are culprits for feelings of discouragement and defeat. Unconsciously, these unrealistic images are digested and cause self esteem damage when efforts to match them fail.
True beauty is in one's essence and emanates from within. It’s time to believe that motto and learn to live it. This doesn’t imply one should stop all efforts to stay physically healthy and fit. However, true power to shine physically develops when thoughts of inadequacy shift to thoughts of self respect, love and gratitude for unique beauty.
Lynne Lambert’s new book Thought Has No Calories is a guide to healing self sabotage and reestablishing an attainable, real-life perspective about body weight creation.
Join Lynne on Sunday July 20Th 2:30 – 4:30 for the Thought Has No Calories book release celebration at Buona Sera Ristorante, 247 Avenida Del Norte, Redondo Beach, CA 90277

DIABETES –Are you at Risk?
Take the FREE diabetes risk test at http://www.diabetes.org/
Diabetes is a sneaky disease. It is not uncommon for this killer to go undiagnosed for years because in the early stages the symptoms are subtle and seem so harmless. However, the risk of death for those with diabetes is twice that of those without diabetes of similar age. For my mother, the diagnoses almost came too late. Without any noticeable indication of disease she developed a blood clot and gangrene in her foot which led to the amputation of her leg. The culprit was diagnosed as diabetes.
In this age of medical miracles, how did this disease go undetected to the point of amputation?
It was simply overlooked by her doctor.
It’s time for each of us to become pro active in our health care!
According to the American Diabetes Association more than 20 million Americans have diabetes but nearly one in three does not know it!
That means 6.2 million people are unaware that they have diabetes!
Do you know your risk?
Some diabetes symptoms include:
Frequent urination
Excessive thirst
Extreme hunger
Unusual weight loss
Increased fatigue
Irritability
Blurry vision
If you have one or more of these symptoms, ask your doctor to test you for diabetes. You can also take the Online Diabetes Risk Test to find out if you are at risk for diabetes.
I only had three of the listed symptoms and might have discovered my genetic predisposition to diabetes too late if not for my mother’s experience. So far, thanks to my endocrinologist and my dedication to healthy dieting and daily exercise, I have been successful in limiting my symptoms and complications.
Recent studies indicate that the early detection and treatment can decrease the chance of developing the complications of diabetes.
Again, DIET and EXERCISE are determined as the main factors in keeping disease in check.
Bring your mind up and get the facts. http://www.diabetes.org/

Mind It Up and Move It
What is your decision about exercise?
Hate it? No time for it? You'll get to it later?
If any of these excuses sound familiar, you may really believe they are a valid expressions of your personal nature. The truth is, a dislike for physical activity is an avoidance of your true nature.
Your amazing body was designed for activity and movement. When you observe how a child inherently seeks every opportunity to run, jump and play, you cannot deny physical activity as a joyful, basic element of healthy living.
Has your childlike enthusiasm for movement disappeared from your life? Perhaps you have distracted yourself with adult living and forgotten the euphoria exercise brings. Or you convinced yourself not to think about it at all!
OK, you probably aren't going to run out and find monkey bars to swing from like you did as a child, but you can recreate that childlike enthusiasm for exercise with your decision to find an adult activity you can manage and DECIDE TO LOVE IT!
The thoughts you choose right now can prevent you from having time and motivation or they can create space and desire in your life. Shift your thoughts! Bring your mind up and use it to purposely create your truth. Just as you have convinced yourself you can’t exercise or don’t want to exercise, you can shift your self-talk and use it as the catalyst for productive, decisive action. You can change your habits, develop a love of exercise and create time for it in just 3 easy steps.
Step 1 – Eliminate all negative comments regarding your body and exercise.
Step 2 – Create a script of daily self talk that affirms your accountbility, gratitude, and new creations.
Step 3 - Create space in your schedule each day (at least 20 minutes) to perform exercise and keep that time sacred.
Does this sound too simple? Believe it! This is how you create your habits!
Your thought process is an internal matter. Purposely choosing thought is the key to changing your habits and your life. Your thoughts can create misery, apathy and stress... or peace, motivation and joy.
Only you can change your habits.
You are the creator of your truth.
It all begins with a thought.
Your current truth lives through your thinking and self talk. If you want different results, start by aligning your thoughts and speech with your disires. You are in charge! Mind it up!
For those of you who desire guidance for a script of thought that encourages exercise, I have created the Mind It Up and Move It audio. This twenty minute script is spoken in first person to allow you to accept inspirational, motivating self-talk as your own. You will be compelled to move while listening to upbeat music and affirmations of gratitude and acknowledgment about your amazing body.
Listen to Mind It Up and Move It during any type of exercise or while relaxing. As your self-talk changes so will your exercise habits.

Thought; who’s in charge in there?
Thoughts are vibrations of energy that create an experience of life and expression of self.
It is your nature to think. Go ahead; try to stop thinking for a moment.
How did you do?
It’s not very easy to turn off your thinking mechanism is it?
In fact, those who practice meditation or like techniques of silence, know it takes discipline and practice when trying to still the mind of thought
However, it can be achieved because you are the thinker, not the thoughts. Whether you realize it or not you are choosing your thoughts right now.
If your thoughts are not creating the expression of life you wish to experience, I invite you to choose your thoughts differently. Yes, YOU CAN CHOOSE YOUR THOUGHTS.
The decision to choose your thought will not only re-train the process that goes on in your mind consciously, but with persistence it will re-train your unconscious mind as well. Your chosen method of thinking will eventually become as habitual as your current thinking and create a new reality for you.
You can choose joy, peace, gratitude, abundance, happiness, harmony or what ever you seek. If you can think it, you can express it and experience it.
Your shift to purposely chosen thought is an investment in a life creation. With repetition and faith you will build momentum in to a habitual state of mind that you purposely created. This is your avenue of power to consciously create your life, your way.
We are now in a position of human evolution that realizes our state of mind as a foundation impacting the experience of everything we do. It’s your perception and thoughts that determine your state of mind at any given moment and through any situation.
If you desire peace, choose peaceful thoughts. If you desire wealth, find the abundance you possess right now and choose thoughts of gratitude. If you desire love, think loving thoughts toward all. If you desire friends, think friendly thoughts and share them.
Thought creates a perception.
Perception dictates emotions.
This combination is a movement of your individualized energy.
Thought, perception, emotion, movement, this is the process of creation in your life.
You are the commander of your thoughts. Think as you wish to be!
